6,300 METERS
A new test chamber sized for a depth of 6,300 meters has just emerged from the workshops of COMEX.
It is designed for checking the mechanical durability of housings.
- Thanks to an automatic system, monitoring all the parameters and controlling the various actuators, this apparatus is totally autonomous.
- The fluid used during tests is room-temperature industrial water.
- Its compression speed may vary from 500 m/min to 5,000 m/min.
