In our cellular biology laboratory, we experiment with the effects of pressure and gases on biological models.

Our team has brilliantly conducted more than 5,300 operations, including nearly 2,700 predominantly physiological or technological experimental human dives.

The HYPERBARIC EXPERIMENTAL CENTRE has a cellular biology laboratory especially designed for studying the effects of pressure (hyperbaric and hypobaric) and gases (oxygen, nitrogen, helium and hydrogen etc.) on cell cultures and other models. This laboratory is equipped with a fully automated hypobaric/hyperbaric bio-incubator for tests with all gases, including hydrogen.

SPORTS AND HYPERBARIC OXYGEN

COMEX offers the use of hyperbaric oxygen (O²HB) for the reconditioning of athletes.

COMEX and the O. SPORT company have researched the usefulness for athletes of using oxygen (O²) at low pressure when restarting training. It has been demonstrated that 4 to 6 sessions of O² at 1.6 b, at a rate of 2 to 3 times per week, optimize aerobic exercise and facilitate recuperation.

We have also developed hyperbaric chambers adapted for the athletes' training and reconditioning, in total safety.
